Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Advanced Tree collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit this website, request an appointment, contact us, upload photos, or ask to receive email updates. It does not govern a third-party website or service that has its own privacy notice.

• Appointment and contact information. This may include your first and last name, email address, phone number, property address or location, property type, service interest, message, and the page from which you submitted a request.
• Photos you choose to upload. You may attach up to three JPG, PNG, or WebP images to help us understand a property concern. Photos are optional.
• Newsletter information. If you ask to receive updates, we collect the email address you submit and the page from which the request was made.
• Technical information. Our hosting and security infrastructure may automatically receive standard request information such as an IP address, browser or device type, requested URL, date and time, referring page, and diagnostic or security event data.

The website does not ask for payment card information, government identification numbers, medical information, or account passwords. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through a message or photo.

How we use information

We use personal information for the purposes reasonably necessary to operate Advanced Tree and this website, including to:

When you submit a form, the information and any optional photos are processed by our email delivery provider and sent to an Advanced Tree business inbox. Copies may remain in that inbox and in the delivery provider's systems according to account settings, operational needs, and the provider's retention practices.

Service providers and other disclosures

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Current website providers include:

• Vercel, which provides website hosting, delivery, security, and related infrastructure;
• Resend, which processes and delivers appointment, contact, photo, and newsletter submissions to Advanced Tree; and
• other professional advisers, contractors, authorities, or parties when disclosure is reasonably necessary to provide a requested service, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, comply with law, or complete a business reorganization.

These providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate. Their own terms and privacy notices govern their independent practices.

No sale or targeted advertising

Advanced Tree does not sell or rent personal information. We do not disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and this website does not currently use advertising pixels or third-party behavioral analytics. Because the site does not engage in those practices, there is no sale or targeted advertising to opt out of through a browser privacy signal.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. Essential hosting, security, or network technology may process technical request information to deliver and protect the site. If we introduce analytics, advertising, or another use that materially changes these practices, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required by applicable law.

Only take or upload a photo when it is safe to do so. Do not approach a damaged or unstable tree, enter a work zone, climb, or move near utility lines to obtain a picture. If a tree or limb is touching or near a utility line, contact the utility or emergency services as appropriate.

Information security

The production website uses encrypted HTTPS connections, validates required form fields, restricts photo file types and sizes, and relies on managed hosting and email-delivery providers. These measures reduce risk, but no internet transmission, email delivery, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use the website only for the information needed to describe your tree-care request.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for property owners, managers, and people seeking tree-care information. It is not directed to children under 13, and Advanced Tree does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and address the request.

Third-party links

The website may link to third-party resources or social platforms. Advanced Tree does not control those services, and their privacy notices apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when website features, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised date at the top shows when the current version became effective. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice when required.
