Start with the concern, not the service name. These answers explain what is useful to know before an appointment and how we approach common tree-care decisions.

Clear answers for property owners and managers.

Can you help me decide whether a tree needs to be removed?

Yes. We start by understanding the tree, the site, and the concern. When preservation is practical, we explain the options. When removal is warranted, we explain the reason and the work plan.

What information should I send with my request?

Include the property address, what you have noticed, your timing, access considerations, and photos only when they are safe to take. Never approach an unstable tree or downed utility line for a photo.

Do you work with remote or second-home owners?

Yes. We can coordinate access, provide a clear scope, and share updates or photos so decisions can be made without being on site.

Do you handle commercial properties and HOAs?

Yes. We support commercial sites, associations, property managers, and multi-property portfolios with prioritized scopes, phased planning, and stakeholder-friendly documentation.

When should I schedule a storm-readiness review?

Before the busiest part of storm season is ideal. Earlier scheduling allows time to evaluate concerns and complete appropriate work before urgency and weather limit the options.

Will pruning make a tree safer?

Sometimes. Pruning can address deadwood, clearance, or certain structural concerns, but the right recommendation depends on the tree and site. An assessment helps determine whether pruning, monitoring, or another action is appropriate.

Do you top trees?

Topping is generally not a responsible substitute for proper pruning. We recommend work that considers tree structure, health, clearance needs, and long-term outcomes.

What happens after I submit an appointment request?

Our team reviews the property details and responds as soon as possible. Hunt, the owner, determines whether the concern can begin with a phone assessment or needs an on-site visit. After the assessment, we explain the scope and coordinate completion of the work.

Is 24-hour emergency tree service available?

Yes. Advanced Tree provides 24/7 emergency and storm-response service. Calls are prioritized by life safety, blocked access, utility involvement, site conditions, travel, and crew availability. Contact emergency services or the utility first when there is an immediate life-safety or electrical hazard.

Do you offer free estimates and paid consultations?

Yes. Free estimates are available for work proposals, and paid consultations are available when a property needs professional analysis, planning, an independent opinion, a written arborist report, or a documented tree-risk assessment.
